TOUR PRICES
Per person $925, plus tax (all tours conducted in English).15 passenger maximum per tour, Custom tours available.

A one time $75 food/park entry kitty ( $15 per day ) to cover most daily meals and park entry/camping fees. Must be paid on the first day to your tour leader and must be paid in CASH or TRAVELERS CHECKS, sorry no Credit Cards.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We believe that your safety and enjoyment are the most important parts of a vacation. Therefore, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory whenever you travel and you MUST be covered by insurance that includes adequate coverage for medical expenses, lost baggage and the cost of repatriation should you not be able to finish the tour. Also you might want to include coverage for cancellation in the event that you must cancel your reservation prior to departure do to illness or injury to your self or a member of you immediate family that might prohibit you from traveling. If you join our tour with Island RV Inc with out adequate insurance you MAY NOT be allowed continue with NO right of refund, It is a mistake to think that this will never happen to you!

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
If you have any medical condition such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, take prescribed medicines, or have a condition that will effect your participation in the tour, you must tell us or your travel agent at the time of booking. This information is essential in case of emergency. All our vehicles carry a basic first-aid kit, but for everyday use you should bring your own medical supplies, such as, pain relievers, antibiotic cream, upset stomach relievers, in addition to sun screen and insect repellent.
 

What is included
Included is all transportation around the island from Monday to Saturday, your tour guide/drivers and most meals when camping.

Your Driver/Tour guides are not trail guides and will remain with the bus during most hiking activities enjoyed by our guests. You will be instructed on any rules and regulations pertaining to the hiking trails you will be using before your hike begins. Please remember your driver will be taking care of you during your adventure, please remember to also take care of your driver at the end of your journey. Recommended tipping minimum is $3.00 per day per person. Your island experience can dictate any added amount you want to tip above and beyond what we recommend.

When in areas where local eateries are available you must carry extra cash for these meals. We will provide all cooking equipment and everyone will take turns in buying, preparation and cooking of the food.
 

Luggage Allowance
One bag or suitcase 18X18X36 max per person, this will be large enough to carry a small tent, sleeping bag and small camping pillow along with an inflatable sleeping pad. A small day pack and camera may also be carried in our vehicle. A small stationary locking safe with key will be issued to each traveler for valuables. Our luggage space is very limited so please pack accordingly.
 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
All Flights must arrive and depart from the Kona International Airport (KOA). All International flights are the passengers's own responsibility. Island RV is unable to delay a tour, or finish a tour early due to your flight times. We recommend you book your flight to arrive into Kona at least one day prior to your tour departure, and the next day after the tour is done this will allow you some adjustment time and opportunities for sightseeing.

Airport transfers to and from the airport & the Hotel are your responsibility and can be pre-arranged with Island RV.

If you do have to return home on the day your Island RV tour finishes, please make sure your flight does not depart before 10:00 a.m. In the event you must leave the tour early for your return flight, Island RV must be informed at least two weeks before your tour departure.

We will provide information on local hotels and booking assistance if requested, in our immediate area that will have easy access to our departure location for your first and last nights stay. Also any additional nights or activities you might want to add to your vacation can be booked in advance if you want to extend your stay on any of the Hawaiian islands.

Please remember to always book in advance to ensure availability.

IF YOU MISS YOUR TOUR DEPARTURE
The unexpected can happen. Your plane may be delayed or you may even miss it, If you have missed your tour departure, first check with the hotel to see if your tour leader left you a message. If not, call the Island RV emergency number and speak to our staff who will be happy to help you catch up with the group. You are responsible for any extra traveling expenses incurred because of a missed tour, so please be on time.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
Packing Tip's

Warm sweater, swim wear, sunglasses, hiking boots, shoes, waterproof jacket with hood, hat, gloves, waterproof sandals, camera & film, small flashlight & batteries, insect repellent, sun screen, sleeping bag, small tent, towel & face cloth, inflatable mat & small pillow, toiletries, personal medicine, travel power adaptor, jeans, shorts, underwear, shirt, T-shirt, hiking vest, small backpack, snorkel gear, net bag, rash guard, reef / water boots

Comfortable shoes with good ankle support is a must and will make your walking more enjoyable.

Please remember there is LIMITED storage and you are only allowed one travel bag per person no bigger than 18 X 18 X 36 all the above mentioned items will fit inside. All luggage is stored in the back of the vehicle, you will be issued a storage area on the bus for your bag and a small safe with key for your valuables that is mounted securely in the bus under your seat. Any additional luggage must be left behind in our storage facilities at a cost of $10 per bag per week.
 

RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL

We hope you are looking forward to your tour. When packing we would like to remind you NOT to leave your common sense at home and to remember that you are ultimately responsible for your safety and well-being. Whether you are taking public transport, going for a hike, taking part in an optional activity or just staying out all night and living it up, we request that you carry yourself in a mature and responsible manner - not only for your personal safety but for that of the group and other travelers. When you are in the campsites, especially the National Parks, remember that quite hours are in effect. Please respect your fellow campers who are there for the peace and tranquility of camping. Have fun, but don't forget to think first!

Also, important to Island RV is for all our clients to become more aware of the delicate balance that exists in the variety of natural wonders you will visit. National Parks and Monuments, archaeological sites and other sensitive areas should and MUST be treated with respect. Island RV strives to operate our tours with minimum impact on the land. So, if you see a notice to "stay on the path" or "pick up liter", please be a responsible traveler and understand that there is a good reason for the notice. Before entering and exiting the ocean you must be aware of the conditions of the area. Safe entry and exit locations, rip tides, under tows, is there a life guard, local rules and regulations will be instructed by your tour guide pertaining to the sea life that is protected in certain area's and the "do's and don'ts" that will help ensure your safety must be followed at all times while you are a member of the tour.
 

Possession of drugs without proper medical prescription will not be tolerated. If anyone is found with illegal drug, they will be instantly removed from the tour.
